SMILING THAILAND: MY JOURNEY TO BANGKOK AND BEYOND

Travelling is an experience of knowing different places, cultures, meeting people with different mindset, and discovering oneself in the way.

THAILAND is also called “Smiles of the Landscape” to welcome people from different countries to enrich the Thailand cultures with this beautiful name.

Our journey started with full excitement, and we landed in Bangkok, then travelled towards PATTAYA CITY. We had a first stop at Siracha Tiger Park for breakfast. We watched the majestic tigers up close, and the experience was thrilling. The next day, we were excited to feel the sea breeze off to CORAL ISLAND by sea boat. We all were thrilled to experience the various water rides like Parasailing, Sea Walk & Banana Boat Ride. Later in the evening, we had a gala dinner where everyone danced, laughed, and celebrated the joy of togetherness.

Our trip was incomplete without shopping. We explored Pratunam and Indira Market, where we found clothes, bags & Thai souvenirs. Those were one of my favourite days. I felt being a child again by watching the giraffes, zebras, tigers, lions, peacocks, and different types of birds. The dolphin show was very heartwarming, and it was related to nature. Bangkok city is beautiful and maintained with proper cleanliness.

Bangkok city is also called “VENICE OF THE EAST”. There is a temple of Buddha statue of 46 meters long and 15 meters high, structured, maintained, and beautifully architecture. Another inspirational thing that I had observed about Bangkok is how women in Thailand are given importance and respect in society. In their professional life, women play a significant and respected part in every sphere of life. Overall, the trip taught me the values of accepting women as equal should be inculcated in us since birth. We boarded our flight back to Mumbai, and we carried home not only gifts, but countless memories and smiles.
