Over the past two decades, I have had the privilege of leading multinational teams, and working across diverse markets spanning the Americas, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. These experiences have taught me that success in today's business world demands more than technical knowledge, it requires adaptability, cultural awareness, ethical grounding, and the courage to innovate in the face of uncertainty. It is this philosophy that shapes our approach at Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School.

Dr Raja Roy Choudhury Phd(Eco), PhD(Psy), Harvard CME (Director)

Dr Raja Roy Choudhury is a holder of dual doctoral degrees in Economics & Psychology and is certified by Harvard and Yale University. He is an exponent in disruptive and critical thinking and its applications in business and academics.

With 36 years of relevant experience and proven credentials in business and technology consulting, performance management, executive coaching, and mentoring, holding multiple certifications in all facets of behavioural health and cognitive psychology from leading institutions around the world, totalling 74 AMA PRA category I credit points. Dr Raja possesses diverse experiences of consulting across several industry verticals as well as impact areas. Managed large engagements that involve multiple practices and technology verticals across India, Australia, South pacific, Africa & South Asia.

He has approximately 22 years + of experience in building and leading practices and business units and proven experience in performance management & executive coaching & mentoring - Key verticals include IT, Office Automation, Telecom, Retail, Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, Banking & Insurance, Automotive, Education & Healthcare & Behavioral Health. He was a Visiting Professor at IIM Mumbai (NITIE) and was Ex Chief Happiness Officer, IIT Madras and distinguished Faculty at SPJIMR.

Dr Raja was Director (Professional & Doctoral Programs) with S P Jain School of Global Management and was instrumental in launching their emerging technology and DBA programs before he took up the challenge of heading N L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies & Research to take it to greater heights with the introduction of global management programs, international tie ups, action research, business incubation center, professional certifications in emerging tech areas. He was the Principal Consultant to Dassault Systèmes & a leading automation company in Pune. He served iFEEL as Director & Jaro Group as Mentor. He last worked in Academics for Universal Business School as Director before going back to Corporate to head Darwin Platform Group of Companies as Group CEO. Dr Raja runs a social enterprise called 3rd Eye Knowledge Foundation, which covers mental health and well-being services. He completed his full-time academic assignment as Director of Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore in April 2024 and returned to Mumbai. He currently serves as Group Director, School of Liberal Arts & School of Business and Strategy at Dnyaan Prasad Global University, Pune and Director, Dr D Y Patil B School.
