Detailed Report:
The SDG Club of Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School organized a Pledge Taking Ceremony on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan on Monday, 12 January 2026, at 04:00 PM on the college ground. The activity witnessed active participation from students, who gathered to collectively affirm their commitment towards leading a life free from addictions and substance abuse.
During the ceremony, students took a formal pledge pledging to avoid alcohol, drugs, and other addictive substances, and to spread awareness about their harmful physical, psychological, and social consequences. The activity emphasized the importance of personal responsibility, mental well-being, and ethical conduct in shaping a healthy society.
The event successfully reinforced the objectives of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan by sensitizing students to the long-term impact of addictions and motivating them to act as responsible citizens and ambassadors of a drug-free society. The collective pledge fostered unity, discipline, and a strong message of commitment towards building a healthy, aware, and socially responsible youth community.
