Detail Report
The faculty and students of the Music Club had the privilege of visiting the Cipla Palliative Care and Training Centre to conduct a musical outreach session aimed at spreading joy, comfort, and emotional warmth through music. The visit was thoughtfully planned to ensure sensitivity to the environment and the emotional needs of patients receiving palliative care.
During the session, students and faculty performed a selection of soft, soulful, and melodious compositions, including devotional songs, light classical pieces, and familiar tunes that resonated with the audience. The music created a serene and soothing atmosphere, allowing patients and caregivers to momentarily relax and experience emotional relief.
The interaction went beyond performance, as the participants engaged warmly with patients and staff, sharing smiles, conversations, and moments of genuine human connection. Music acted as a universal language, breaking barriers and offering comfort without the need for words.
The experience proved deeply touching for everyone involved.
