Event Description

Prakriti se Pragati – Progress through Nature was an engaging and awareness-oriented academic activity that
blended marketing concepts with sustainability and Swadeshi values. The event created a space where students
could think freely, question existing market practices, and come up with solutions rooted in nature and tradition.

Working in teams, students designed eco-friendly and realistic product ideas and presented them using the STP
marketing approach. They identified everyday market problems such as overuse of plastic, low awareness of
indigenous products, and unsustainable consumption habits. Based on these challenges, they defined their target
audience and built strong positioning strategies that highlighted sustainability, ethical practices, and cultural
relevance.

The presentations reflected students’ creativity, practical understanding, and concern for the environment. Many
ideas showed how traditional and natural products can be marketed effectively without losing their core values.

Outcomes
The event helped students become more aware and conscious consumers, making them reflect on the choices
they make in daily life. It strengthened their understanding of how marketing strategies like STP work in real
situations.
Students showed noticeable improvement in their analytical thinking, teamwork, and presentation skills. More
importantly, the activity encouraged them to think about marketing in a responsible and ethical way, keeping
sustainability and social responsibility at the center of business decisions.
