Objectives:
The primary objective of the activity “A Swadeshi Expression” was to promote awareness and
appreciation of Swadeshi culture, indigenous art forms, and locally made products among
students. The activity aimed to encourage creativity, cultural sensitivity, and responsible
consumption while fostering respect for Indian craftsmanship and traditional artistic expressions.
It also sought to provide students with a platform to express patriotism and cultural pride through
art and craft.


Detailed Report:
The Art & Crafts Club of Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School successfully organized “A Swadeshi
Expression” on 13th January 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM on the institute premises. The event
witnessed enthusiastic participation from PGDM students, who showcased their creativity through
various Swadeshi-themed art and craft creations.
Students presented handmade artworks, paintings, craft items, and visual displays inspired by
Indian culture, traditions, rural heritage, and locally sourced materials. The activity emphasized
the importance of Vocal for Local and encouraged students to reflect on the role of indigenous
products in sustainable development and national economic growth.

The event provided an interactive and engaging learning environment where students exchanged
