Objectives:
The objective of the industrial visit to PackVision Expo 2026 was to provide MBA and PGDM
students with practical exposure to B2B marketing practices, packaging innovations, and
industrial automation trends. The visit aimed to help students understand trade exhibition
dynamics, brand positioning strategies, and lead generation techniques used by companies in a
competitive business environment. It also sought to bridge the gap between academic concepts
and real-world industrial practices through direct interaction with industry professionals and live
product demonstrations.

Detailed Report:
The Marketing Department of Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School, Pune organized an academic visit to
PackVision Expo 2026, held at the Pune International Exhibition & Convention Centre (PIECC),
Moshi, Pune, on 21st February 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The visit was conducted for MBA
and PGDM students under the coordination of Mr. Shubhendra Singh and Dr. Smriti Shukla.
PackVision Expo 2026 is a prominent trade exhibition focused on packaging technology,
automation, sustainability, supply chain solutions, and industrial innovation. The primary
objective of the visit was to provide students with exposure to B2B marketing practices and trade
exhibition dynamics within the manufacturing and packaging industry.
During the visit, students explored various exhibition stalls showcasing advanced packaging
machinery, automation systems, eco-friendly packaging materials, labeling technologies, and
supply chain solutions. They interacted with industry professionals, company representatives, and
technical experts to understand real-time business operations, product demonstrations, and
emerging market trends.
The visit enabled students to observe how companies present their value propositions in a B2B
environment, generate leads, build professional networks, and position their brands strategically
at trade fairs. It also provided insights into industrial decision-making processes, sustainability
initiatives, and innovation-driven growth strategies adopted by participating organizations.
