An intensive CV Building Workshop was organized exclusively for PGDM Marketing students
to enhance their professional profiling and employability skills. The session was conducted by
Abhijeet Chandra, CEO of Vehemence, who brought valuable industry insights and practical
expertise to the workshop.
The workshop focused on helping students refine their CVs to align with current industry
expectations, particularly in the marketing domain. Prof. Chandra emphasized that a CV is not
merely a document but a strategic marketing tool that represents one’s personal brand. He guided
students on structuring their profiles effectively, highlighting measurable achievements, and
presenting internships, live projects, certifications, and extracurricular activities in a results
oriented format.
Participants were trained to position their strengths strategically by quantifying
accomplishments, using action-oriented language, and tailoring CVs to specific job roles. The
session also addressed common mistakes in CV writing, the importance of keyword optimization
for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and the need for clarity, precision, and professionalism.
Through practical examples and live feedback, students gained hands-on experience in improving
their CV drafts. The interactive nature of the workshop encouraged participants to ask role
specific questions and understand how recruiters evaluate marketing profiles.
The workshop proved to be highly practical and value-driven, empowering students to craft
compelling CVs that effectively communicate their competencies and career potential even
before they step into the interview room.
