Objective(s):
The primary objective of Mahadan 11.0 was to encourage voluntary blood donation and raise awareness about its importance in saving lives. The initiative aimed to foster a sense of social responsibility among students and staff while contributing to the healthcare system through collective community participation.


Brief Report:
The Rotaract Club of Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School successfully organized Mahadan 11.0, a Blood Donation Drive, on 14th March as part of the mandatory initiative observed during World Rotaract Week (9th–15th March).
The event was conducted with the objective of promoting social responsibility and contributing to the healthcare system by encouraging voluntary blood donation. The drive witnessed active participation from teaching faculty, non-teaching staff, and students, reflecting a strong sense of community service and collective responsibility.
Around 104 Blood Doners successfully donated blood .
The event was efficiently coordinated in collaboration with the medical team, ensuring that all necessary medical protocols and safety measures were followed. From donor registration to post-donation care, the entire process was managed smoothly by the dedicated volunteers of the Rotaract Club.
The Seminar Hall was appropriately arranged to facilitate a comfortable and hygienic environment for donors. The volunteers played a crucial role in managing logistics, guiding participants, and ensuring a seamless flow throughout the event.
Overall, Mahadan 11.0 was successfully executed, making a meaningful impact by contributing to blood reserves while also spreading awareness about the importance of blood donation. The event stood as a testament to the spirit of service and teamwork upheld by the Rotaract Club.
