Objective(s):
To support underprivileged communities by donating clothes, promote social responsibility among volunteers, and help those in need.
Brief Report:
On 10th March 2026, RCDYPBS organised a cloth donation drive in a slum area to support underprivileged people. The activity was carried out by members of the Rotaract Club of
Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School.
During the drive, clothes were collected, sorted, and distributed to the people living in the slum area. The volunteers ensured that the clothes were in good condition and suitable for use. The distribution was done in an organised manner so that everyone could receive clothes as per their needs.
The residents actively participated and were happy to receive the clothes. The interaction with the community helped volunteers understand their daily challenges and living conditions.
As per the feedback from the residents, the initiative was helpful and meaningful. The activity successfully contributed towards helping the needy and encouraged a sense of responsibility and compassion among the volunteers.
