Brief Report:
On 9th March 2026 (Monday), the Music Club in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of
Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School organized a Jamming Session at the Cipla Palliative Care and Training Centre. The initiative aimed to spread positivity and provide emotional comfort to the patients through the power of music.
This activity was conducted as a part of World Rotaract Week and marked the first event of the World Rotaract Week celebrations. The session included live singing and musical performances by the members of the Music Club and Rotaract Club. The atmosphere soon turned joyful as the melodies created a soothing and uplifting environment for the patients and staff present at the centre. Many patients were seen smiling, clapping along with the music, and enjoying the moment, which made the session truly special and meaningful.
Music proved to be a powerful medium to connect with the patients and brighten their day. The interaction and engagement during the session helped create a sense of warmth, compassion, and togetherness. The event was successfully conducted under the guidance and support of Navneet Sir, Ajay Sir, and Bhalchandra Sir, whose encouragement made this initiative possible. The enthusiastic participation of the club members also played a key role in making the session memorable.
Overall, the activity was a heartfelt effort that highlighted how music and compassion can positively impact lives and bring moments of happiness to those who need it the most.
