Objective
• To help students understand industry expectations and emerging workplace trends.
• To create awareness about the skills required to succeed in a rapidly changing business environment.
• To encourage students to align their personal aspirations with organizational objectives.
• To develop a growth mindset, professional excellence, and personal branding skills.
• To prepare students for future careers through continuous learning, adaptability, and self-development.
1. Understanding Stakeholder Expectations
The session commenced with an insightful discussion on understanding whose expectations professionals need to meet throughout their careers. Students reflected on the expectations of recruiting organizations, future managers, team members, customers, and their own personal aspirations. The importance of balancing personal dreams with professional responsibilities was emphasized.
2. Understanding the Future Job Market
The resource person highlighted the changing nature of employment due to technological advancements, digitalization, sustainability initiatives, and artificial intelligence. Students were informed about the growing demand for professionals in areas such as AI, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, Sustainability, and Cybersecurity.
