Objectives:
The workshop was conducted with the following objectives:
1. To introduce students to the fundamentals of startup funding and investment readiness.
2. To create awareness about various funding sources, including bootstrapping, angel
investors, venture capital, bank financing, crowdfunding, and government startup
schemes.
3. To help participants understand investor expectations and the key elements of a
successful investment pitch.
4. To develop knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, and
financial forecasting for startups.
5. To strengthen students ability to evaluate funding options based on different stages of
business growth.
6. To enhance understanding of financial decision-making and resource management for
sustainable entrepreneurship.
7. To expose participants to real-world startup funding experiences and investment case
studies.
8. To encourage strategic thinking in managing startup finances and minimizing financial
risks.

The workshop "Turning Ideas into Investment-Ready Ventures – Startup Funding and
Financial Planning" was organized to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of
the financial aspects of entrepreneurship. While innovation and creativity are the foundation of a
successful startup, access to funding and sound financial management are critical to
transforming ideas into sustainable business ventures.
The session focused on equipping participants with practical knowledge of startup financing,
investment readiness, financial planning, and investor expectations. Students explored various
funding avenues available to entrepreneurs, learned the essentials of preparing investment
