As part of the Induction Programme for the PGDM Batch 2026–28, Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School organized an insightful HR Panel Discussion to provide students with valuable perspectives on the dynamic world of Human Resource Management and leadership. The session was moderated by Director Dr. Jitendra Sandu, who facilitated an engaging discussion with distinguished HR professionals from diverse industries.
The panel discussion focused on the changing role of Human Resources in today's business environment and highlighted how HR has evolved into a strategic function that drives organizational growth, employee engagement, and business transformation. The panelists shared their experiences and discussed key topics such as talent acquisition, leadership development, employee engagement, organizational culture, performance management, diversity and inclusion, digital transformation in HR, and the future of work.
During the session, the experts emphasized the importance of developing essential employability skills, including effective communication, emotional intelligence, adaptability, critical thinking, teamwork, and ethical decision-making. They encouraged students to embrace continuous learning, remain agile in a rapidly changing business environment, and proactively seek opportunities for professional development through internships, certifications, and industry exposure.
